Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) Brutally Critiques “Gadar 2” Sequel, Applauds Bhojpuri Films For Direction

The much-anticipated Bollywood film “Gadar 2” has finally hit the big screens, and it’s facing a fierce box office battle against Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s “OMG 2.” Both sequels have been the talk of the town ever since their announcements. After much anticipation, the films made their way to theaters on Friday, August 11. While both movies are garnering mixed to positive reviews from audiences, one voice has emerged with unfiltered criticism.

KRK’s Scathing Critique

In a series of tweets, Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) has unleashed his scathing critique on the sequel "Gadar 2," labeling it a joke and underscoring the superior direction in Bhojpuri films. He compared the film's direction, acting, and quality to that of Bhojpuri productions, stating that Bhojpuri films exhibit tenfold better direction and quality. KRK's outspoken comments have ignited discussions on the film's direction choices and the wider landscape of film quality.

Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK), known for his outspoken views, took to Twitter to deliver a series of harsh critiques directed at Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2.” He didn’t hold back, labeling it as nothing more than a ‘joke’ disguised as a film. In addition, KRK compared the film unfavorably to Bhojpuri films, praising the latter for their superior direction and quality.

In His Own Words

KRK’s tweets on the matter are quite direct. He stated, “Prediction 97: Gadar 2, sorry Gutter 2, is such a great film, and Anil Sharma’s direction is so brilliant that no Bollywood actor will do his film ever except his son and Deols. And Utkarsh, the star of Malgaon, with his exceptional acting, is a talent so compelling that no director will offer him less than a 2-minute role. Gadar 2 is a mockery in the realm of cinema.”

He went on to further elaborate, “Whoever from Bollywood watches Gutter 2 will be shocked by the direction, acting, and quality of the film. Bhojpuri films have now surpassed Bollywood in direction and quality by a factor of ten. The success of these films highlights that the audience values gimmicks over substance.”

A Conflicted Review

KRK’s candor extended to his internal conflict regarding whether to review “Gadar 2” or not. In his concluding tweet, he revealed, “I can’t create a review of less than 40 minutes for this film. So, I’m torn between whether to review it or not. Will the audience invest time in watching such a lengthy review?”
