While Fans Await “Pathaan” Songs, Director Reveals SRK Starrer’s Big Tom Cruise Connection

Many viewers praised Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan’s teaser, praising the teaser’s exciting action sequences.

Now, director Siddharth Anand has revealed that the film’s action sequences were made possible by Casey O’Neill, a well-known Hollywood stunt coordinator.

O’Neill has collaborated with Tom Cruise on some of his most successful action films, including Mission: Impossible and Top Gun: Maverick. O’Neill has appeared in several Steven Spielberg films as well as several Marvel films.

Pathaan director Siddharth Anand addressed the film’s connection to Tom Cruise in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. “When one sets out to make the spectacle action film of India with one of our country’s all-time biggest heroes, Shah Rukh Khan, you need a champion team that is unified in the vision,” he said in the interview. Having someone on our team like Casey O’Neill, who has extensive experience working with Tom Cruise, was a huge help, and we were fortunate to have an A-team that collaborated to push the boundaries of what is visually possible with Pathaan.

“He brings a wealth of experience, and he immediately bought into the idea of creating edge-of-your-seat action for Pathaan that could match what he’s done back home in Hollywood,” the director added. Nothing compares to Casey’s work on Pathaan, no matter how amazing it is. If you want to find out what happens, you’ll have to wait until the film’s official release on January 25 to see it in theatres.

Pathaan’s creators have been releasing promotional materials on the 25th of every month in anticipation of the film’s premiere on January 25, 2023.

As a result, many listeners expected its debut single, rumoured to be titled Besharam Rang, to be released online on November 25.

Nonetheless, that did not happen, and Besharam Rang is now trending on Twitter for no apparent reason.
