The Missed Meeting and Lost Opportunity
During a Holi party hosted by filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Monica Bedi was approached by Rakesh Roshan, who she was unaware of being a filmmaker in addition to being an actor. Roshan hinted at casting her in the film but Monica, suspicious of his intentions, decided not to pursue the opportunity. ‘Karan Arjun’ ultimately starred Mamta Kulkarni and Rakhee Gulzar in pivotal roles.
Monica Bedi’s Regretful Decision

Confused by his interest, she discarded the card, sensing something fishy about the situation.
A Missed Chance Revealed
After the news of the film’s casting made headlines, Monica Bedi’s manager informed her that Rakesh Roshan had wanted to cast her in ‘Karan Arjun.’ Unfortunately, it was too late, and the opportunity had slipped away. Mamta Kulkarni ended up playing the role opposite Salman Khan.
Life After the Missed Opportunity
