The year 2023 has been a remarkable one for Vikrant Massey. He commenced the year with Pavan Kripalani’s thrilling “Gaslight” alongside Sara Ali Khan. Following this, he joined the cast of Santosh Shivan’s ensemble-cast thriller, “Mumbaikar.” Looking ahead, he has four more exciting movies lined up, including Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “12th Fail,” Aditya Nimbalkar’s “Sector 36,” Taapsee Pannu’s “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba,” and Devang Bhavsar’s “Blackout” with Mouni Roy.

A New Romantic Comedy

Adding to his already packed schedule, Vikrant Massey has signed yet another exciting project. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Vikrant Massey will be starring in a romantic comedy alongside actress Raashii Khanna. Directed by debutante Bodhayan Roy Chaudhury, who has also written Vikrant’s upcoming thriller “Sector 36,” this yet-untitled project is currently under wraps. However, the shooting has already commenced in Mumbai. Vikrant and Raashii began shooting for this movie 2-3 days ago and are expected to wrap it up by November 2023, with plans for a theatrical release in the first half of the following year.

Raashii Khanna’s Hindi Ventures

For Raashii Khanna, this yet-untitled romantic drama marks her third Hindi film, following “Madras Cafe” (2013) and an upcoming action thriller, “Yodha,” set to release in December this year alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Recently, she ventured into the world of Hindi projects and was seen in Raj & DK’s Amazon Prime series, “Farzi.” Prior to that, she shared the screen with Ajay Devgn in Disney+Hotstar’s “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness,” an Indian adaptation of the British series Luther. On the southern front, she is involved in projects like “Aranmanai 4” and “Methavi,” both in various stages of production.

Vikrant Massey’s Upcoming Release

Whilefans eagerly await this exciting new love story, Vikrant Massey is currently anticipating the release of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “12th Fail,” scheduled to hit cinemas on October 27. The film is based on Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, portraying the incredible journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. Apart from these projects, Vikrant is also working on screenwriter Niranjan Iyengar’s directorial debut film, adapted from a short story penned by Ruskin Bond.
