VD12: Vijay Deverakonda Is Scheduled To Portray A Cop In His Upcoming Film, And He’s Shared The First Look!

Vijay Deverakonda is scheduled to collaborate with ‘Jersey’ star Gowtam Tinnanuri on a new project. The film’s creators presented the poster on Friday.

Vijay took to Twitter to provide facts about his next film #VD12.

He shared the poster and commented, “The Story. The Group. My next step. When I heard this, my heart skipped a few beats.”

The shape of a cop with a towel covering his face suggests that #VD12 will be a regular cop drama. Vijay will be wearing khaki on-screen for the first time in his career with this project. The image of a burning ship in the middle of a body of water piques the viewer’s interest.

Gowtam Tinnanuri wrote and directed this film. Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya will co-produce the film, which will be presented by Srikara Studios. The last time Gowtam collaborated with Sithara Entertainments, they produced the National-award winning sports drama ‘Jersey,’ starring Shraddha Srinath and performing well at the box office.

The production company Sithara Entertainments also published the graphic with the remark, ‘I don’t know where I belong, to tell you whom I deceived.’

Meanwhile, Vijay’s most recent film, Liger, which was aggressively touted as a pan-India project, failed at the box office, grossing less than Rs 100 crore. Vijay made his Bollywood debut with the film. He will appear alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the forthcoming love drama Khushi. The film is scheduled to be released in 2023.
