‘They’ll Pay,’ Says Fawad Khan Of His Return To Bollywood.
Fawad Khan is a Pakistani actor who has quickly established himself in the Bollywood film industry.
His breakthrough role in Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons came after his debut in the 2014 Bollywood film Khoobsurat alongside Sonam Kapoor. Pakistani celebrities were denied entry to India in response to the success of Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He was recently seen in that film.
Fans hoped to see Fawad in more Hindi films after seven years since his last appearance. The ban, however, has prevented this from happening.
According to a recent interview with Variety, the actor intends to return to the Hindi film industry. During their conversation, Fawad Khan said, “Working on the project and interacting with the people I met was a fantastic experience. To summarise, I learned a lot from this experience. Despite the fact that the political squabble between India and Pakistan has had no effect on our relations, we are understandably hesitant to respond to such a question… It’s a good one, but I can’t give you a definitive answer until things calm down and a lot of questions are answered. There are numerous unanswered questions.”
Furthermore, Fawad Khan stated “Because collaborating with others makes it easier to point fingers at them, I believe the question should be whether or not others want to collaborate with me. I’ll finish my work and then disappear, but anyone who wants to work with me will have to deal with the consequences. This worries me because they will be the ones who have to live there and deal with the consequences.
“Similarly, if I were to work [in India] and return [to Pakistan], I would have to suffer the consequences of what the people, the government, or whatever bodies involved think about it,” Khan concluded. Aside from that, I have excellent relationships with my coworkers. I hope to stay in touch with them in the future.”
On the professional front, Fawad Khan made his first appearance on non-American television in a cameo role on the Disney+Hostar series Ms. Marvel.
