Ranveer Singh Represents Dwayne Wade’s Team At NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, Meets Ben Affleck On The Court

For the second time, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh took part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The actor was in attendance at the Salt Lake City, Utah game to represent former Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade’s squad. The NBA’s brand ambassador in India, Ranveer, ran into Ben Affleck on the court. With a final score of 81–78, Team Dwayne triumphed over Team Ryan.
The NBA India Instagram account posted a photo of Ranveer and Ben Affleck deep in conversation while on the court. While the actor wears his team uniform, Ben opts for a white light sweater, brown pants, and sneakers. The story of how a Nike salesman convinced a young basketball player named Michael Jordan to sign a contract to wear Nike shoes is the subject of Ben’s next film, Air, in which he also acts and directs. The film, which will make its debut on Prime Video soon, also stars Matt Damon and Viola Davis. He was there to promote his upcoming film in which he plays Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
The NBA India brand ambassador was cheered on as he entered the game. Frances Tiafoe, a professional tennis player, and actors Simu Liu and Janelle Monae were among his teammates. Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player for the Milwaukee Bucks, and Ranveer were friends. NBA India also posted a candid photo of the two of them from their time together on Instagram.
In Cirkus (2022), directed by Rohit Shetty, the actor played two different characters. The family film starring Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma underperformed at the box office. Next up for Ranveer is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Alia Bhatt and is directed by Karan Johar.
Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, all seasoned performers, also star in the romantic drama. The film’s April debut has been pushed back to the new release date of July 28.
