Following the triumph of his recent release, Dunki, Hirani is set to make his mark in the digital domain, with actor Vikrant Massey playing the lead role in the upcoming show.

In a recent statement, Hirani confirmed the news about his OTT debut and provided insights into the project. The show, set to start shooting this month, will be produced for Hotstar (Disney+ Hotstar). Although not directing the show, Hirani will serve as the showrunner. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s something I’m very happy about with the script and the way it has panned out. On this show, I’m really involved, and it’s in my own space.”

Addressing the anticipation around the Munna Bhai series, Hirani mentioned that he is keen on creating the next installment only if a compelling script materializes. Despite having multiple scripts, such as Munna Bhai Chale America and Munna Bhai BA LLB, he emphasized the importance of quality over commercial success.
