This revelation came as a part of Anushka’s promotional campaign for her upcoming film, “Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty,” in which she plays the role of a chef. Anushka, known for her love of Mangalorean cuisine, including chicken curry and Neer Dosa, playfully challenged Prabhas to unveil his culinary secrets. In a chain of camaraderie, Prabhas also nominated Ram Charan to share his favorite recipe.

Prabhas’ Prawn Pulao Recipe

Here’s a glimpse of Prabhas’ prawn pulao recipe:

  1. Begin by washing the prawns thoroughly in boiling water with a pinch of turmeric.
  2. Heat a pan and add dry red chillies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and the prawns. Stir-fry them until well-cooked.
  3. Add onion paste, tomatoes, green chillies, salt, and chilli powder. Continue frying until the mixture is well-cooked.
  4. Add water and bring it to a boil. Once the water evaporates, set the curry aside and cover it with a lid.
  5. In a separate vessel, heat oil and add onions, cashew nuts, and rice. Stir-fry them while adding salt, turmeric, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, and masala mix.
  6. Add the pre-prepared curry to the rice and fry for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Pour in 2 glasses of hot water for every 1 glass of rice.
  8. Allow the mixture to cook for approximately 30 minutes over low flame, and your delicious prawn pulao is ready to be savored.

Prabhas has been a steadfast supporter of Anushka Shetty’s upcoming film, “Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty.” He actively promoted the film from its initial look to the teaser and trailer releases.
