Katrina Kaif’s ‘Phone Bhoot’ Makes Fun of Ranbir & Alia’s ‘Brahmastra’
Katrina Kaif is back in theatres with Phone Bhoot, a horror comedy starring Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Phone Bhoot is sure to be a financial success, just like her previous film, Sooryavanshi, which caused a stir at the box office last year.
The film has received mixed reviews, with some calling it hilarious and others calling it a waste of time, but it is widely acknowledged that there are numerous instances of meta-humor throughout.
A scene in which the actors make fun of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s recent box office hit Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva is particularly memorable.
The film was widely mocked online almost immediately after its release for a variety of reasons, including the fact that Amitabh Bachchan’s secret hideout was visible on Google Maps and Ranbir Kapoor’s Shiva character refers to Alia Fazal’s Isha as his “AgnyAstra’s button.”
“Not the cast of #PhoneBhoot going to the antagonist’s secret hidout and saying: “AATMARAM KI JAGAH KO KAISE DHOONDE, YEH TOH GOOGLE MAPS PE BHI NAHI HAI” or capturing his weapon and saying: “ASTRA KI SHAKTI KO KAISE DHOONDE, YEH TOH GOOGLE MAPS PE BHI NAHI HAI

Phone Bhoot’s metahumor at Brahmastra has proven to be extremely popular. Many saw this as Katrina’s chance to retaliate against Ranbir and Alia for their alleged mockery of her in the Brahmastra scene where she dances to the Agneepath song Chikni Chameli.
According to one of our users, the following is a “indirect friendly roast of an ex-boyfriend.” The reference was to the film he directed. Katrina, you are incredible.
“He did that too with chikni chameli in bramhastra,” a second person added.
Even though they were shot ahead of schedule, it appears that these scenes were dubbed in after Brahmastra had already been released.
“They were desperate for attention, so they deliberately dubbed dialogues,” one informed user observed.
“I heard this movie has a lot of spoof type references, so I’m not surprised,” a fourth Twitter user wrote. It’s odd that they reshot a scene after the film was already finished. In the film Brahmastra, Waise bhi rk alia danced to the tune of Chikni Chameli. Settledβ.
