Kangana Ranaut’s Reaction To The Death Of Tunisha Sharma: ‘I Request That Prime Minister Modi Enact Strict Anti-Polygamy Legislation.’
Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram Stories to express her feelings about the recent death of actor Tunisha Sharma. Tunisha’s body was discovered on the set of her TV show, Alibaba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. While her death is being probed by police, Kangana requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make new laws to safeguard women against ‘polygamy and acid attacks’.
“A woman can cope with everything, loss of love, marriage, relationship, or even a loved one, but she can never deal with the fact that her love story never had love, for the other person her love and vulnerability was just an easy target for exploitation, her reality was not the same as the other person who was in it only to use and abuse her physically and emotionally,” Kangana wrote in a lengthy note.
Kangana continued, “She can’t trust her own perception in such a state where one feels no difference in being alive or dead after all life is just our perception and if she decides to end her life…please know she didn’t do it alone… It’s a homicide.”
Meanwhile, Tunisha’s former boyfriend, actor Sheezan Khan, who is a suspect in her death case, is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. Sheezan Khan was arrested a day after her death on charges of aiding and abetting suicide. After appearing in court on Sunday, he was remanded in police custody for four days.
Tunisha and Sheezan allegedly split up a few weeks before her death. The two appeared together in the show Alibaba: Dastan-E-Kabul. Tunisha played Shehzaadi Mariam in the SAB TV show, while Sheezan played Ali Baba.
According to reports, the late actor was hospitalised after suffering from anxiety attacks a few months ago. According to ANI, she also suffered from depression and anxiety in 2018. So far, the Waliv Police investigation has recorded the statements of 18 people in connection with the death case.
