Singer Kailash Kher was recently attacked while performing live at an event in Hampi, Karnataka. According to accounts, the artiste escaped unharmed and continued with his act.

Kher was in Karnataka for an annual celebration put on by the state government. According to numerous accounts, the artist sang a number of Hindi songs that some audience members did not enjoy. Instead, they demanded that he sing in Kannada and even threw bottles at him.
