Yep!
Despite the fact that many new films were released this week, Kantara has continued to perform well at the box office into its fourth week.
This week’s dubbed versions in AP/TS, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala contributed to the film’s opening day total of 7.50 crores, which is higher than the previous week’s total.
This was not present the previous week.
According to industry reports, the film’s performance in Southern Karnataka’s holdover markets was less than 35%, while the Hindi version of the film saw a 60% increase in performance in North India.
The South Indian film’s total Indian box office earnings are now at Rs. 146 crores, and it appears that it will cross Rs. 150 crores by the weekend’s end.
However, the second weekend is expected to bring in between Rs. 33 and Rs. 35 crores, bringing the film’s total earnings to around Rs. 170 crores by Sunday.
The upcoming Diwali celebrations guarantee that the already outstanding performances will only improve.
According to various sources, Kantara joined Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 as the only other films to gross more than Rs. 100 crore in Karnataka on Friday.
Kantara’s customs are dominated by the Kambla and Bhootha Kola peoples. The story takes place in a fictional Dakshina Kannada village.
The plot revolves around the idea that demigod energies protect the village.
So far, the film has received unanimous praise from critics, audiences, and even its own cast and crew.
