“I’m not talented or beautiful” Janhvi responds to doubters.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has taken the initiative to clear up some misconceptions.
Janhvi aspires to be “the hardest working person on the set,” despite the fact that she lacks “the most talent or the most beauty.” Janhvi explained in a recent interview that sceptics may perceive her as taking her “position for granted,” but they couldn’t be more wrong. In a recent interview, she addressed the criticism that she takes her “position for granted.”
Janhvi Kapoor’s parents, late legend Sridevi and Bollywood mogul Boney Kapoor, are among the industry’s most powerful.
From her debut in Dhadak (with Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khatter) to her upcoming role in the crime comedy Good Luck Jerry, the actress has been selective in the roles she has taken on throughout her career (scheduled for release in 2022).
In stark contrast to her co-star kid Ananya Panday, who has already become typecast as the high-society damsel in distress due to her roles, Ananya Panday appears to have no preconceived notions about her character.
In an interview with GoodTimes, she discussed privilege. The general consensus is that I don’t value my position sufficiently. That is by far the most common misinterpretation they have of me. Because I was born into privilege, they believe I have no concept of hard work. I can’t promise I’ll be the most skilled, attractive, or marketable person on set, but I can guarantee I’ll be the hardest worker. And I can put it in writing with my own blood, so you will never doubt the integrity with which I approach my work again.
“I can’t keep doing the same thing because I get bored easily,” she continued. This was in light of her previous professional experience. I get bored easily, so I have to challenge myself to see how far I’ve come toward my goals. I feel like I’m wasting my time unless that’s the case.
Janhvi, like her sister Soha Ali Khan, has repeatedly raised the issue of nepotism, even when it was unnecessary. This is in stark contrast to the celebrity children, who avoid the subject entirely. Soha Ali Khan has done similar work.
In reality, the only thing that has changed is that those who disagree with her have become even more enraged. The fact that she is still learning the ropes could explain this, but at the very least she is attempting to change the public’s perception.
In the upcoming Kapoor family film, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, she will co-star with Rajkummar Rao.
The film’s central theme has been widely reported to be cricket.
So, how do you interpret Janhvi’s critiques of her own work? Please leave your comments below!
