‘Hypocrite’ KJo’s Statement On Women’s Objectification Resurfaces Amid Kiara’s ‘Bijli’ Song

Karan Johar recently released the first song from his upcoming film, Govinda Naam Mera.

The song is called “Bijli,” and it features Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani on vocals.

Karan Johar became the target of online harassment in the form of trolling as soon as the song went viral. A screenshot from the music video for “Bijli” was combined with a quote from Karan Johar’s 2018 interview with She The People about the “objectification of women” in cinema.

During the interview, Karan admitted he was the culprit and promised not to make the same mistake again in his next film.
