Fans Connect Pathaan’s Train Scene To A Scenario In An Uncharted Video Game, And Shah Rukh Khan’s Appearance Is Said To Be Influenced By Nathan Drake
While Pathaan has been well received by fans in India, many are noting the striking parallels between the action-thriller and iconic Hollywood products. While some fans have identified scenes that appear to be influenced by the Fast and Furious and Mission: Impossible movies, others have discovered parallels between the train scenario and a level in the video game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
The game was released in 2017 as a prequel to the main series entry Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Fans on Reddit spotted a resemblance between a stage in the video game and Pathaan’s main action scene. Salman Khan’s Tiger appears in this sequence, teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan to knock down foes on a speeding train. The sequence concludes with the train tumbling off a cliff and Tiger and Pathaan sprinting across it to safety.

Uncharted’s cutscene is very similar. In fact, it concludes with the main character sitting on the ruined bridge, having a self-reflective talk, similar to Tiger and Pathaan at the end of the film. “And not only that. A helicopter also assaults in the game, and the train travels through the tunnel. You must obtain heavy machine guns in order to destroy the helicopter. The train then runs off the bridge, forcing you to jump to safety. “It’s very much ‘influenced’ by the game,” one Reddit user remarked. “Pathaan’s entire style was taken off of Nathan Drake,” another admirer pointed out.
