Ekta Kapoor Called Radhika Madan’s Remark About The Television Industry “Sad And Humiliating,” And Praises Sayantani Ghosh

After actor Sayantani Ghosh, producer Ekta Kapoor is the next star to respond to Radhika Madan’s remark on the television industry’s work ethic. Radhika’s words were deemed “sad and shameful” by Ekta.

In a recent interview, Radhika recalls spending 48-50 hours every shift as a TV actor. When she requested the screenplay, she was told, “Aap set pe chalo, script garma garam aa rahi hai” (You just arrived at the sets, the script will be newly printed). She claimed that directors used to make last-minute changes and that whoever director was available would come to shoot. Radh also stated that if she had anything to say about her role, the director assured her that they would consider it when they made a film, not a TV series.

Sayantani responded to the interview on Instagram, and she was recently asked about it in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan. “We also have Mouni Roy, who is a great friend of mine, and there is a certain grace that she began her career on TV, which I didn’t see in Radhika’s clip,” she remarked. She and many others despise television; you shouldn’t, in my opinion. My issue is that I don’t regard television as a stepping stone.”

Several TV actors reacted to Sayantani’s remarks about Radhika. “Well said,” Anita Hassanandani said. “Well said, @sayantanighosh0609,” Karanvir Bohra said. What she said wasn’t bad, but how she said it was…. @radhikamadan You could have been a little more sensitive about this…aapko kya lagta hai, filmo mein aibe nahi hai (How do you feel about this? Making films is possible without all of this)?” Tripathi, Divyanka “Sayantani, I absolutely agree with your points of view and like how you handled the situation,” Dahiya remarked. “After working in films, I realised that they, too, have a deadline, and not all films can spend ‘days’ debating a scene,” actor Nilu Kohli stated. Only because TV actors like ‘us’ are used to it do we perform under any circumstances!! We TV actors know what we’re doing, and I’m proud of it!”

Radhika’s most recent film was Aasman Bharadwaj’s Kuttey, in which she co-starred with Arjun Kapoor and Tabu. Sayantani is well-known for her roles in TV shows such as Ghar Ek Sapnaa and Naagin.
