Deepika Padukone and Mahesh Babu in Rajamouli’s “Make This Happen”
Much has changed in Bollywood in recent years. Many factors contributed to this occurrence, including the content that began to be produced and audience reactions to films with high and low budgets. The films in which our favourite actors agreed to appear were suddenly as random as the box office returns and audience responses had always been.
As a result of the fusion of South Indian and Bollywood cinema, some of our most beloved stars, most recently Deepika Padukone, have become pan-Indian.
According to reports, SS Rajamouli is in discussions with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone about casting her opposite South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu in his next film.
Let’s Cinema tweeted, “#DeepikaPadukone is in talks” for the female lead in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s forest adventure.
Her online fans are overjoyed by the news and can’t stop smiling in the aftermath of the announcement.
Comments such as “Make this happen plzzzzzz” and “Hope it’s a significant role” have been left. Aside from Eega and Bahubali, the majority of SSR films cast female leads in stereotypically small or flowerpot roles. We’re hoping that Deepika’s role will be more than just a cameo.
Because both Deepika Padukone and SS Rajamouli are CAA clients, one commenter speculated that the director was the one who negotiated Padukone’s casting. Meanwhile, acclaimed writer KV Vijayendra Prasad confirmed in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla that SS Rajamouli’s next film with Mahesh Babu will be an action film, with filming set to begin in 2018.
Deepika will have two major projects lined up for the following year, as she will co-star with Shah Rukh Khan in the highly anticipated film Pathaan, which is set to be released in 2023.

RRR, the latest film by SS Rajamouli, was not only a commercial success, but it was also nominated for an Academy Award as part of the “For Your Consideration” campaign.
Even though the rumour hasn’t been confirmed, let’s see if the next film will elicit the same kind of reaction and end result at the box office.
