Day 5 box Office Results For Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan’s Movie Collects Rs 550 Crore Globally Over The Course Of The Long Weekend, Shattering Records Both In India And The US
Shah Rukh Khan’s recent film Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, reintroduced much-needed flavour to Bollywood. Since its January 25 debut, the spy thriller has been breaking records. After a startling opening of Rs 57 crore, the picture made Rs 70 crore on its second day, Rs 39 crore on its third day, and picked up again over the weekend with Rs 53 crore, according to early estimates (Sunday). Pathaan’s box office revenue in India has surpassed Rs 280 crore during the prolonged weekend; its overall collection will set records. Pathaan is also the fastest film in history to break the Rs 200 crore mark, topping KGF 2 and Baahubali 2’s Hindi version, which did it on their fifth and sixth days, respectively.
Pathaan had previously shattered records with its Rs 57 crore opening day, which is India’s highest single day, and it now has the highest opening weekend as well. The film is now attempting to shatter Dangal’s record of Rs 387 crore as the highest grossing Hindi film of all time. Pathaan is smashing ticket counters not only in India, but also overseas, with the film earning a phenomenal Rs 429 crore in barely four days of release. Pathaan’s worldwide gross collection will be in the area of Rs 550 crore after Sunday’s collections, according to trade expert Ramesh Bala. “5 days WW #Pathaan “Gross expected to be in the 550 Crs range,” he tweeted on Monday morning.
Previously, trade expert Taran Adarsh discussed how Pathaan is breaking box office records. “Pathaan REWRITES HISTORY…

Pathaan also broke into the top five grossing films in North America. Pathaan finished sixth with $5.9 million from only 695 theatres.
Pathaan’s statistics are a source of joy and relief for Shah Rukh Khan, who has returned to the big screen after a four-year absence. His previous flicks, Zero, Fan, and Jab Harry Met Sejal, did not fare well at the box office. It’s also good news for Bollywood, which had only a few hits last year, with only a few exceeding the Rs 200 crore mark.
