Can SRK’s mentoring of Aryan Khan’s writing debut quiet anti-nepotism activists?

Aryan Khan| This year, Bollywood has been subjected to a boycott. Social media users have begun to boycott nearly every other Bollywood film, putting a significant dent in the industry as a whole. Because of the boycotts, nearly all of the theatres in Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan were nearly empty, with dismal box office receipts.

However, the fight against nepotism grew to include boycott campaigns, with films starring the children of famous actors and actresses being a particular target. Boycotters targeted movies starring young actors like Ranbir Kapoor (Brahmastra), Ananya Pandey (Liger), Alia Bhatt (Brahmastra), and Shamshera. However, boycotts did not apply to films starring Kartik Aaryan, such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Most people disagree on whether star children have an unfair advantage over others because of their families’ connections. Because of favouritism, even mediocre actors have a better chance of breaking into the competitive entertainment industry than other would-be actors.

Despite being correct, the anti-nepotism movement has recently taken a negative turn.

Even before the first trailer is released, people are avoiding these kid-star movies, despite the fact that they could be quite entertaining. This has created a toxic environment in which people are afraid to speak out for fear of sparking a boycott campaign against their organisation. When a celebrity does not actively seek out controversy, their previous interviews and statements are used against them.

When Aryan Khan begins his writing career, he will work for Red Chillies Entertainment. According to reports, Shahrukh Khan has hired Israeli director Lior Raz as a mentor to help him solidify his foundational skills and surround himself with trustworthy professionals as his career progresses.

Is SRK’s behaviour considered nepotism, or is it simply the act of a father attempting to help his child succeed in life?

Many of us come from middle-class families with parents who care deeply about our academic and professional success. They arrange for us to take additional classes and connect with people from a variety of fields so that we can better determine which career path is best for us.

To what extent do you believe Shahrukh Khan is providing his son Aryan with the same opportunities he received?

SRK

People are discussing this on Reddit, and many of them support SRK and Aryan decision to focus on training rather than working. Why do we continue to shame star kids for having more resources than an outsider when getting an Aryan mentored by a seasoned professional appears to be no problem at all? Who will a father help if he is unwilling to help his own son?

This is the central issue at stake in the debate over favouritism and nepotism.

Aryan Khan

The question of whether Aryan Khan’s work should be tainted by the nepotism debate is a valid one. Is Aryan Khan’s work tainted because he made his debut as a filmmaker after years of studying film and being mentored by trained professionals?

Inadequate quality means that those who see his work will not remember it and will send a message to those who might be interested in working with him. However, it is tragic that, despite being trained in the art of filmmaking, a man who is capable of producing quality films is still subjected to criticism from those who believe he will never achieve anything because he is SRK’s son.

The audience, on the other hand, will suffer the most.
