Before Kangana, Aishwarya Discussed Noti Binodini Biopic.

Kangana Ranaut, one of Bollywood’s highest-paid actresses, is having a difficult time right now because her latest film, Dhaakad, bombed at the box office.

But she’s ready to return, and she’s working on a number of exciting projects. The actress has finished filming Sarvesh Mewara’s Tejas and has begun work on her second directorial project, Emergency.

Her ardent fans may be disappointed, but the actress has recently signed on for another leading role.

Kangana announced on Wednesday that she would be working with director Pradeep Sarkar on a biopic about Noti Binodini, a legendary performer in Bengali theatre. The film will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Kangana’s statement, which she is very excited about, is as follows: “I am honoured to be working with Pradeep Sarkaar ji, whom I greatly admire. Furthermore, this is the first time Prakash Kapadia ji and I will be collaborating, so I am very excited to be a part of this extraordinary journey alongside some of India’s most gifted artists.”

The script for the upcoming Binodini biopic was written by Prakash Kapadia. His writing has appeared in films such as Devdas, Black, Padmaavat, and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

It may surprise you to learn that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was previously said to be in talks with Pradeep Sarkar for the same film.

When those reports first surfaced in 2020, Aishwarya had reportedly agreed to play the courtesan-turned-actor in Sarkar’s upcoming film.

Even before the official announcement, there were rumours that COVID-19 had delayed the film’s production. Finally, Kangana has been cast as the show’s lead.

Kangana

This will be the fourth time the Gangster star has played a real person on film, following roles in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Thalaivii (J Jayalalithaa), and the eagerly anticipated Emergency. In case you were wondering, this will be her fourth film portrayal of a real person (Indira Gandhi).

On the professional front, Kangana has agreed to star in Alaukik Desai’s Sita: The Incarnation. The title of her role in the play alludes to the fact that she will be playing Sita, Lord Rama’s wife.
