“Baat Paise Ki Hai…” Akshay Kumar’s Hera Pheri exit revealed.
In retrospect, Raju is the most relatable of the three main characters in Hera Pheri (along with Babu Bhaiya and Shyam), each of whom is distinct and tragically funny in their own way. He was the one with whom I could most easily identify.
His realistic desire for greed, as well as his rough and unpolished communication style, make him unlikable. As the truth about Akshay Kumar’s departure from the franchise emerges, we see a flaw in his personality that may have contributed to his failure in the real world.

An insider familiar with the actor and the circumstances has revealed why Akshay Kumar has decided to leave the Hera Pheri film series. If you’re wondering why, the answer is money.
According to Bollywood Hungama (via an unnamed source), “Firoz is eager to revive the Hera Pheri franchise and wanted to get it started as soon as possible.” Kartik is a hot commodity for Akshay Kumar franchises after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and he was discussing Hera Pheri 3 with both Akshay and Kartik.
According to the source, “Akshay Kumar quoted Rs 90 crores as his fees plus a portion of the profits as compensation for Hera Pheri 3,” whereas Kartik Aaryan was willing to do it for Rs 30 crores. When Firoz went to present the two possible casting calls to the satellite and digital players, he discovered that working with Kartik Aaryan was providing him with more lucrative returns than working with Akshay. The two actors’ salaries were separated by nearly 600 million Indian rupees. Despite this, Kartik earned only 15 crores less from satellite and digital players than Akshay. Firoz was on the verge of saving Rs. 45 crores by having Kartik appear in the film.
According to the same source, Akshay declined the offer because he believed staying would allow him to have a greater impact on the franchise. The parties involved reached an impasse after several rounds of meetings because their dialogue had not progressed in the desired direction. That was ultimately what caused the camel’s back to buckle. Firoz Nadiadwala was eventually forced to sign his contract with Kartik Aaryan, and the two are currently planning to bring the Hera Pheri 3 system back to life. Firoz believes Kartik would be ideal for the role of Raju. In fact, the entire script has been rewritten to reflect Kartik’s likeness.
If the rumours are true, Hera Pheri 3 will not be possible without a younger Raju. This is an excellent script that will enhance the Hera Pheri series.
Even if Kartik Aaryan proves capable of carrying the film on his own, fans are likely to be disappointed that Akshay Kumar will not appear in the third installment. Kartik Aaryan’s ability to finish the third instalment is still in doubt.
