At the Box Office, Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh by Rajkumar Santoshi Will Compete With Pathaan By Shah Rukh Khan.

Earlier in the day, director Rajkumar Santoshi announced the title of his forthcoming film: Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh. The film is scheduled to debut on Republic Day, January 26, 2023. Thus, it would compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly anticipated Pathaan.

Despite the fact that the SRK film would be released a day before Republic Day on January 25, it is the same week and only a day apart.

The makers of Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh announced the film and its release via a video containing clips from a number of Santoshi’s acclaimed films from decades past. Although the release date has been announced, the cast of the film remains under wraps.

Last year, however, it was reported that the director’s daughter, Tanisha Santoshi, would make her acting debut in this film. Also, as soon as the announcement video was released today, Tanisha wrote a heartfelt note to her father congratulating him on the film.

Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh is about the historical figures Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse, as suggested by the title. Pathaan, produced by Yash Raj Films and starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is an unabashedly stylish action-comedy.
