In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the film’s music team and lyricists Siddharth-Garima shared intriguing details about the soundtrack, including an unheard version of the song Satranga that didn’t make it to the final film.

Satranga’s Untold Tale

During the Pinkvilla interview, the music team, consisting of lyricists Siddarth-Garima, shared a surprising revelation about Satranga. According to Siddharth, there exists a version of the song that didn’t make it to the final cut of the film. He added, “So basically there’s a version of Satranga which is not in the film. Matlab Sandeep loves it, so we’ll share that with you.” The duo even disclosed the unreleased lyrics, giving fans a glimpse into what could have been.

Satranga’s Origin

Shreyas Puranik, the music director of Satranga, had previously mentioned that the song was originally created for a different film in September 2022. Satranga underwent a creative process with 18 different versions featuring different musical arrangements. Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the director of Animal, expressed interest in the ‘original raw version,’ leading to its inclusion in the film.

Puranik shared the serendipitous turn of events that led to Satranga becoming part of Animal. After singing the song at a Diwali party attended by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Puranik received a call from Vanga’s office expressing the director’s desire to use the song in his upcoming film. This unexpected development marked a joyous moment for the music director.
