Amit Sadh Says He Wanted To Stop Acting After The Death Of Sushant Singh Rajput.

In ‘Kai Po Che,’ Amit Sadh and Sushant Singh Rajput made their Bollywood debuts together. Because the film was primarily about the friendship of these three boys, the two actors’ chemistry was palpable both on and off-screen. Rajkummar Rao also appeared in the film.
Amit revealed in a recent interview that he and Sushant were lovers while filming ‘Kai Po Che’. That’s why he was devastated when Sushant died in 2020. Amit mentioned Sushant on his podcast with Chetan Bhagat. Amit admitted that the incident had affected him so much that he wanted to leave the industry.
Amit also admitted that he could understand the mindset of a suicidal person because he attempted suicide at the ages of 16 and 18. Having said that, his life is now going well. Everything has changed, and he is now a stronger individual. Amit stated, “I understand that person’s mind. Someone commits suicide when their life is completely dark. And when someone’s life is completely dark, it is not their fault; it is the fault of society. Those around them are to blame because they did not care enough and someone felt so hopeless, as happened to me.”

He also stated that he attempted to contact Sushant before his death. “I spoke to someone who knew him about 3-4 months before he died and asked for his phone number. Because we were all hearing things, I said I’d talk to him. There was no numerical value. That person informed me that he had completely shut himself down and that his phone number had been changed. A voice inside me told me that if he gets upset, I should just drop by his house. When that person said no, I did not pursue him. We all get busy, and then there’s the guilt… I’m not sure if it’s guilt or a kind of love “Amit admitted it.
