Alefia Kapadia Injures Herself While Filming Bade Acche Lagte Hain: When It Comes To Such Injuries, I Wish People Were More Compassionate And Adaptable.

Actor Alefia Kapadia had an accident on the sets of her daily soap, Bade Acche Lagte Hain leading to a “huge clot underneath the toenail”. “It’s turned black, and the toe is swollen. I can’t walk and have been limping around. “The pain is excruciating,” says Kapadia.


It all started when a light struck Kapadia’s foot during a dance routine. “Abhinav Kapoor was right in front of me, while the rest of the cast was busy rehearsing. I just sat there with my foot on the ground. I cried a few tears in my room by myself. “The rest of the crew found out when I didn’t show up for the rest of the dance sequence,” Kapadia recalls.

While following the doctor’s orders to the letter, the actor reveals that the most difficult part of her injury was getting the gel polish off her toe. “It was excruciatingly painful to scrape the paint off. “I was yelling in the salon,” she admits.

“I do wish people are more compassionate and adjusting when it comes to such intense injuries,” she says of the entire episode. Work is important, but it can only be done if one’s health permits.”


The actor is currently on vacation, but she will be back on set soon because she will be an important part of the upcoming sequence.
