Abhishek Bachchan Reveals Amusing Facts About John Abraham: From Mechanic To Supermodel

Abhishek Bachchan, in a recent interview, shared lighthearted and interesting stories about his friend and co-star, John Abraham. Both actors formed a close bond during their collaborations in the iconic films Dhoom and Dostana. Abhishek revealed that John’s initial passion might have been mechanical work on bikes, but he ended up becoming a renowned supermodel and actor by mistake.

During the interview, Abhishek playfully stated, “I have a friend called John Abraham. I think he was born to be a mechanic. Lekin woh galti se supermodel aur superactor ban gaya (He became a model and an actor by mistake). John’s first passion is disassembling his bikes, then assembling them. So I have learnt a lot from him.”

Furthermore, Abhishek Bachchan credited John Abraham for teaching him how to ride a bike, an essential skill he learned during the filming of Dhoom. Despite Abhishek’s prior lack of experience, John patiently guided him through the process. “During the shooting (for Dhoom), John taught me how to ride. John used to ride with me and teach me. He was unbelievable. He used to live in Bandra, he would ride all the way back to Juhu with me. He said ‘Baba, just remember. You have to be very responsible.’ He is Parsi so he knew how to disassemble the bike and said ‘this (chassis) is what you are riding on.’ He was so safe and he taught me everything, and I was so confident after that.”

John Abraham’s love for bikes is evident from his impressive collection, which includes models like Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and MV Augusta F3 800.

Abhishek Bachchan is currently gearing up for the release of the movie Ghoomer, where he will be portraying the role of a coach. The film is scheduled for release on August 18. On the other hand, John Abraham is set to appear in two upcoming action-thrillers, Tehran and The Diplomat.
