Abhishek Bachchan, the esteemed Bollywood actor, candidly revealed the remarkable way his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, responds when he returns home agitated over trivial matters. In a recent discussion, he unveiled Aishwarya’s approach to managing his temper, shedding light on their strong bond and shared values.
Emphasizing Perspective Amidst Irritation
During an interview on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Abhishek Bachchan acknowledged that he occasionally finds himself irritated by minor issues upon returning home. In these moments, Aishwarya’s calming demeanor comes into play. She gently advises him to regain his composure and offers a refreshing perspective on life’s priorities. Abhishek shared, “You can come back and you can be irritated about anything. You know nowadays if you’re in Mumbai you’re irritated about the traffic also. And sometimes she’s like, ‘What are you getting so hyper about? Calm down, you know there are more important things? You’ve come home and you have a healthy happy family.’”
A Remarkable Post-Covid Revelation
The couple faced a challenging time during the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Aaradhya were all diagnosed with Covid-19. Abhishek reflected on their collective experience, sharing that they were admitted to the hospital simultaneously and were discharged one by one as they recovered. Abhishek himself spent almost a month in the hospital and was the last to be discharged. He recalled Aishwarya’s wise words upon his return home: “When I came back home, she said, ‘You know we’re so lucky that we’re all still here. There’s so many families that have been ravaged by Covid and we’re very lucky and what’s more important.’”

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are undeniably one of Bollywood’s most cherished couples.
