The upcoming movie ‘I Love You,’ directed by Nikhil Mahajan and starring Rakul Preet Singh and Pavail Gulati, features a significant connection to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The director, known for his acclaimed Marathi film ‘Godavari’ and other notable works such as ‘Pune 52’ and ‘Baji,’ revealed that the last scene of his movie was shot outside Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat. As a devoted fan of the megastar, Mahajan aimed to infuse a touch of SRK into his film.

Nikhil Mahajan’s admiration for Shah Rukh Khan is no secret. While it was impossible to have Shah Rukh Khan appear in the film, the director found solace in capturing the essence of Mannat, Khan’s abode. Thus, the final shot of ‘I Love You’ showcases Pavail Gulati and Rakul Preet looking at Mannat, symbolizing the director’s love for SRK and paying homage to the superstar’s influence.

Both Pavail Gulati and Rakul Preet, along with the entire production team, enthusiastically embraced the idea of incorporating Mannat into the film. As a fellow SRK admirer, Gulati was particularly thrilled with the concept.
