Following her appearance on the podcast The Art Of Being Well, where she described her routine featuring fasting and bone broth, several dietitians raised concerns over Gwyneth’s wellness routine. They described it as “disordered” and potentially harmful.
The Clarification
In a video posted on her Instagram Stories, Gwyneth clarified that the diet she follows is customized to her needs and based on her medical results and extensive testing over time. She also emphasized that it was not meant to be advice for anyone else.
She explained that she has been working with her doctor for over two years to deal with some chronic health issues, including high levels of inflammation due to long COVID. Her diet focuses on foods that aren’t inflammatory, such as lots of cooked vegetables, proteins, and healthy carbs.

Gwyneth has noticed positive results from her diet, and she emphasizes that it has been very powerful and positive for her. While she admits to eating French fries and whatever she wants on some days, her baseline is to eat foods that will calm her system down and be healthy.
