Tejaswini Pandit, a popular Marathi actress, recently recalled a harrowing experience she had in 2009-10, when she was still trying to make a name for herself in the film industry. In an interview with Soumitra Pote on his podcast Mitramhane, the actress revealed that a corporator once allegedly made her a sexual favour offer.

According to Tejaswini Pandit, “It was around 2009-10, and I was living in a Sinhagad Road rental apartment (in Pune). Only one or two of my films had been released at the time. A corporator owned the apartment. When I arrived at his office to pay my rent, he made me a direct offer… I picked up a glass of water from the table and threw it in his face. I didn’t get into this business to do such things, or I wouldn’t have stayed in a rented apartment. I would have brought houses, cars, and other items.”
