The Bollywood star was recently detained by authorities at an airport, sparking a wave of memes about the incident.

The actor was on his way home from Sharjah, where he had been honoured at a ceremony and given an award for being a Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative.

Many people were perplexed as to why he and his team had been detained at the airport on their way home.

According to NDTV, a total of Rs 18 lakh worth of watches were discovered in his and his team’s luggage.

According to reports, Shah Rukh and his manager were allowed to leave the airport after being questioned and completing some formalities, but his bodyguard and team were detained all night for further questioning.

The superstar reportedly had to pay a customs duty of 6.83 lakhs because he was carrying 18 lakhs in watches.

Internet users are making fun of the situation by making memes about his repeated airport detentions, such as “King Of Airport For The Reason” and “Airport and SRK Never Ending Bond.”

The other user added, “Should I not make a Rs. 6,000,000 payment to whom? You must not say anything!” What I can’t figure out is why he didn’t pay it the first time. Who can say for certain? Nothing will ever be revealed!

In terms of the actor’s career, several films with thrilling action sequences will be released in 2023.
