Akshaye’s first look as a scheming cop is Drishyam 2’s biggest USP.
Drishyam 2, the sequel to one of the most talked-about films in recent years, has piqued the interest of audiences.
Following the release of the recall teaser and Tabu’s first look poster, the film’s producers have released the first look poster of Akshaye Khanna, who plays a police officer in the film.
“Dushman ka mauka aksar dushman aapko khud deta hai #Drishyam2,” Ishita Dutta captioned a poster from the film she shared.
Take a look at it below:
The poster has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from social media users, with many citing Akshaye as the film’s main selling point (USP).
“This is going to be extremely interesting,” said one when Akshaye Khanna was added to the cast of #Drishyam2.
According to another Twitter user, “Akshay Khanna and Tabu may be the only things that elevate this Hindi version above the Malayalam version.”
“I have already seen #drishyam2 but in some other language,” said another user. This, along with #AkshayeKhanna, who plays a police officer in the film, will undoubtedly appear on the story’s Hindi cover.
According to a fourth commenter, Akshaye Khanna is “one of the best ACTORS in Bollywood.” It would be fantastic if he could appear in a few more films.

Finally, Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar clashes with Akshaye Khanna’s scheming police officer, who promises to be the film’s most difficult challenge.
He’s expected to play a significant role in assisting Tabu’s character in exacting revenge on Vijay’s family for the murder of Tabu’s son.
This year, all Hindi remakes of South Indian films have failed, with Vikram Vedha being the most recent example. The addition of Akshaye Khanna has increased the film’s chances of commercial success.
Ajay and Akshaye have collaborated on a film for the fourth time.
The first two films in which both of these actors appeared were Deewangee in 2002 and Aakrosh in 2010.
Despite the fact that they both appeared in the 2003 film LOC: Kargil, they had no on-screen interactions.
Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak and stars Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta among others.
The film will be released in theatres on November 18, 2022.
