Vijay Deverakonda And Karan Johar To Reunite After ‘Liger’

The negative response to their film “Liger” did not deter Vijay Deverakonda and Karan Johar from working together again on another project.
Vijay Deverakonda has come a long way since his first film role in the 2011 Telugu film Nuvvila. His career has undoubtedly advanced.
After his breakthrough role as Arjun Reddy in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, the actor’s career took off, and he went on to star in a variety of films, including Mahanati, Taxiwala, and Dear Comrade.
That year, he made his Bollywood debut in the Hindi-Tamil film Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Ramya Krishnan and Ananya Panday.
Though Vijay was extremely confident in Liger and declared it a blockbuster months before its release, the sports drama received mixed reviews from critics and moviegoers, and it eventually proved to be a huge commercial failure.
It’s worth noting that Vijay and Jagannadh have previously collaborated on a film called “Jana Gana Mana.” It was hoped that the film would be released in 2023. Because of Liger’s poor performance, the two people involved decided to put the idea on hold for the time being.
Although Vijay’s friendships with Puri Jagannadh and others have been strained as a result of the negative response to Liger, the actor’s friendship with the film’s producer, Karan Johar, remains strong.
According to recent rumours, the two creatives have already begun discussing working together on another project. Yes, you have understood correctly.
“This time the project will be an out-and-out love story,” a source close to the production told TOI. Karan has decided not to take any risks after witnessing the public reaction to the events in Liger.
In addition, KJo will serve as producer for the film. On the other hand, we haven’t seen or heard anything official to that effect.
In his professional life, Vijay is involved in a business called Kusi. Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the lead in the Telugu-language romantic comedy.
The general public is eager to see Vijay and Samantha’s smouldering chemistry on the big screen. The first look poster and teaser for Mythri Movie Makers and director Shiva Nirvana’s film have gotten a lot of attention.
The film Kusi will be released on December 23rd of this year. It will also be made available in Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
