Spider-Man may have a big role in ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’
So, let us all agree on something!
When Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home was released in 2018, we were overjoyed to learn that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would reprise their roles as Spider-Man and Venom, respectively.
Regardless of the rumours, this has become one of the most discussed topics, rivalling Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
Despite the high expectations, NWH did not disappoint; in fact, we got to see several major stars, including Tom Holland, make their long-awaited returns.
The movie may have ended with the characters returning to their respective universes, but it’s possible that this was just the start of something even more exciting. After a long absence, the older incarnations of Spider-Man surprised fans by returning.
Please keep in mind that when we say “Spider-Man,” we mean a very specific one.
Andrew Garfield has been cast as Spider-Man in the upcoming film “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Andrew previously stated in an interview that he plans to return for additional films. As in, “if it gives you a good vibe.”
The answer was a positive “yes, absolutely open to something if it felt right.” Spider-Man, like Peter, is dedicated to assisting others for the greater good. He grew up in Queens, New York, and comes from a working-class family that has experienced poverty and loss. If I could borrow Peter Parker’s moral compass, it would be that I would only return to tell that story if I was completely confident in my ability to do so. Andrew speculated that if given the opportunity to fill in some of the narrative gaps, he might return to the action someday.
Since Andrew Garfield’s cameo appearance in No Way Home, fans of Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man franchise have been clamouring for the series’ return.
At the very least, Andrew appears to be making a cameo in at least one film.
The Kang Dynasty vs. Team A.V.E.
Why?
Before the big fight, the three Spider-Men met in NWH and had a little chat. Yes, but this was before the pivotal battle.
Andrew’s Spider-Man is the only one who didn’t get to fight aliens, and the others are reminiscing about it.
We have no doubt that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige intended for an Easter egg to be hidden there.
This suggests that Andrew’s Spider-Man will play an important role in the story when Kang: The Conqueror appears in Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
In addition, he will eventually meet an alien.
At this time, no affirmation can be given. But, to be honest, it would be fantastic if that actually happened.
To say we’re excited for Andrew’s return would be an understatement.
