5 Horror-Comedies That Will Scare You and Make You Laugh.

Bhoot Bungla, directed by Mehmood and released in 1965, is widely regarded as the first horror comedy film.

In contrast, the last ten years have seen an explosion of films that are both hilarious and terrifying.

Bollywood recognises the market for horror comedy films and intends to continue producing them in the near future.

Several horror comedies are set to hit theatres in the coming years, and fans can’t wait to see them. Some are sequels to previously successful horror comedies, while others provide fresh takes on the genre.

Here’s a rundown of some of the most anticipated upcoming horror comedies:

1. Bhediya

A new teaser trailer for Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya is now available online. The plot of the film is based on Arunachal Pradesh’s widespread werewolf mythology.

Bhaskar, Dhawan’s character, is a human who, after being bitten by a wolf, transforms into a werewolf every night. It is expected to be released to the public on November 25th, 2022.

2. Phone Bhoot

3. Munjha

Fans have been hoping for answers and a sequel to the cliffhanger film Stree, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.

The producers have decided to release both Stree 2 and Munjha, a prequel film. Munjha will tell the story of Kapoor’s character’s time as a witch.

Shraddha Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Vicky Kaushal will star in the film.

4. Bhool Bhulaiyaa

T-Series has announced that, following the massive success of the second film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, a third instalment will be made.

Shraddha Kapoor, who will play the lead female role, will be joining the cast soon.

5. Sunehri Sunehra
