However, the following are four films in which he declined to star but which went on to provide stellar roles to other actors:
1. Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan
The film’s creators have decided to make a sequel as a result of the unexpected financial success of Shubh Mangal Savdhan. According to TOI, Ayushmann Khurrana was considered for the lead role, and the producers were eager to cast Rajkummar Rao opposite him. He was unable to participate in the effort for unknown reasons. The film would have been a success in his opinion if he had agreed to appear in it, but he turned down the offer.
2. Chhapaak
Meghna Gulzar’s first choice for the lead role was Rajkummar, who expressed interest in appearing in the film. Vikrant Massey was chosen for the role because the project’s dates did not coincide with his availability.
